Emtek Products Inc. offers a five (5) year mechanical warranty and a one (1) year * FINISH warranty to the original purchaser of their products and/or merhandise from simpsonshardware.com. Emtek Products Inc. further warrants the products and/or merchandise be free of defects in material and workmanship. The product must not have been modified, abused, missused or improperly installed, maintained and/or repaired during said five (5) year period. This warranty DOES NOT COVER scratches; abrasions; deterioration due to the use of paints, solvents, or other chemicals; elements of nature; abuse or misuse. Emtek Products Inc. must be given the opportunity of inspection by return of any alleged defective products and/or merchandise to the Company, free and clear of all liens and encumbrances. Emtek Products Inc. shall, at their option, either repair or replace, any product or part thereof found upon the Company's inspection, to be so defective, or at the Company's sole discretion refund the purchase price. * FINISH-- Emtek Products Inc. does not offer a finish warranty on Rust, Deep Burgundy, Medium Bronze, Flat Black Patina and Silver Patina finishes. Simpsons Hardware will service Kwikset Warranty Issues for Kwikset Products purchased from simpsonshardware.com for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase. During this ninety (90) day period we will happily replace or repair your defective Kwikset product(s). After this ninety (90) day period you may contact Kwikset Corporation, 1-800-327-5625 for Warranty fulfillment.
Warranty applies to the original residential user of Kwikset Products against defects in material and workmanship as long as the original user occupies the residential premises upon which the product was originally installed. Warranty " DOES NOT COVER" scratches; abrasions; deterioration due to the use of paints, solvents, or other chemicals; elements of nature; abuse; misuse or product(s) used in commercial applications. Upon return of a defective product to Kwikset Corporation, Kwikset may repair or replace the product or refund the purchase price. Kwikset is not liable for incidential or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidential or consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
